Case overview
The NCAA and NISOA, a prominent organization dedicated to soccer officiating, hosted a Women’s Summit at the San Jose Hyatt Place Downtown. This event featured speaking engagements, group discussions, and the recognition of exceptional achievements with Hall of Fame awards. The challenge was to capture these valuable training sessions and event highlights in video format, providing NISOA members with ongoing access to essential officiating knowledge and recognizing the accomplishments of its members.
The Brief
NCAA sought to create five training videos to showcase the Women’s Summit’s content. These videos would be made available on YouTube and used in PowerPoint presentations. Additionally, B-roll footage of group discussions and member testimonials enhanced the videos’ impact. The project aimed to illustrate the success of college soccer members and provide relevant online training resources.
Our Approach
Our creative team meticulously planned the project, addressing each training session and event aspect with precision. Multiple cameras were deployed to capture various angles, including the front stage area, podium, and audience. To ensure the highest quality, presentation slides were integrated into the videos. Live streaming was not required, but backup recordings were made to facilitate post-event editing. The master footage was delivered to the client within five business days, allowing for any necessary edits.
The Results
The impact of the video production project was significant. The resulting five high-definition videos, with a total runtime of under 4.5 hours, became invaluable resources for NISOA members. They covered essential topics such as referee positioning, motivation, inspiration, and featured a Hall of Fame award ceremony. B-roll footage and member testimonials added a personal touch to the training materials.
These videos were utilized for ongoing training, benefiting NCAA and NISOA college soccer referees both in-person and online. NISOA members found them to be valuable resources, enhancing their officiating skills and knowledge. The success of this collaboration has established a positive relationship, with the client expressing interest in future partnerships with our agency.
